Our lake is available for fishing and boasts a floating dock, installed in spring 2016. At that time, it also was stocked with six special grass carp to help control the growth of weeds. Although our lake was previously stocked with carp, only two were remaining from the original purchase. The new fish are about ten to twelve inches long and should grow to three feet or more in length. If caught, they should be released back into the lake so they can continue their work on weed control. Normally, they do not go after the same bait as bass and sunfish so it is rare to catch one with rod and reel.
